Ok, thanks for understanding!

You can plot reset by:
1. Click New Save File
2. After you board off the train (and answer Rover's questions) go around town and look for a plot. If there isn't a plot, go to the town hall, talk to Isabelle, and get a house from Tom Nook. Doesn't matter where, unless your going to keep that character. Then, talk to Isabelle and save. If there is a plot, and you like the place, do the steps above about if there isn't a plot. If there is a plot, and you do not like where it is, then go to home, close Animal Crossing, and do Step 1 - 3 again until satisfactory.

and DON'T go to your town on that new day, or else the plot will be automatically saved and cannot be changed. And you can't Time Travel back either, or else it will count as a day in the game file rather than less than a day.
