I really don't see what the big problem is about it. It's like: "Are you gay?" "Does it matter?"

I, personally, am neutral on the subject. To me, it really doesn't seem like a necessary law.

It's more like "Are you gay?" "Yes" "Then we don't want you to help our country, your help is unneeded and we don't want you wearing our uniform".

She proposed a new law "Don't like it, Go home" so that homophobes in the army that are uncomfortable around the Gay soldiers should be the ones discharged.

I think it is a pretty stupid law really. Sexuality shouldn't matter in the military, since you really shouldn't be doing anything sexual while on duty right? Not being able to talk about it though seems ridiculous. How many movies have a soldier with a girlfriend waiting back home, imagine not being able to talk about her if you were a woman.
