Lack of Qr Codes for Men's Clothing

I see DRESSES everywhere. I went on the tumblr called Men's Fashion but the person who runs it also posts dresses and such! They also haven't seemed to update it at all.
Wondering if anyone with guy character's also have this problem and if they fixed it somehow?

I've been thinking about this for a long time but thought everyone knew this secret on how to get the best fashions!

I have recently noticed this problem myself. I visited the new leaf men's fashion tumblr you mentioned a few days ago and was pretty disappointed. Whenever I do find something it always seems to be some form of cosplay too. Maybe once I continue to branch out on the internet with other AC players I'll find something or someone to help me out. Glad I'm not the only one who has this problem though, I felt like an internet pleb.

Oops, I see you've already referred to this site. I found quite a bit on there for my son, so I thought it was decent for boys/men's fashion. I did find a few links to girl items here and there, but it was the best selection I've found.

I do agree, there is a lot more for women.

I noticed that too. Cosplay can be fun but sometimes I just want a normal flannel.

I feel bad because my boyfriend is always depressed at the nice QRs I always find for myself. Someone posted one earlier this week, a cosplay from Black Butler, but honestly if you didn't know that beforehand you wouldn't guess. I added one I found for my boyfriend that fit his tastes.

No, you aren't an idiot for posting this! I know how hard it is to find things you like in qr codes. All the cosplay and manga stuff is all stuff I know nothing about. I do like some of the outfits, tho, even tho I am not at all familiar with the genres. I know absolutely NOTHING about Manga and from what I see they all look the same, but I know it's just because of my lack of knowledge and lack of time to know about it.

I have commissioned people for a few clothing items, tho, and find others by pure chance and luck by Googling. But even so, for my male characters there is a LOT less than for women. But I also think that since so many people still love this game and continue to make qr codes (thank goodness, because I am abysmal at it!) that more will become available. At least I hope so.

That's just what happens when a game is predominantly played by women. Same thing happened to me when I played an MMO a few years ago. It was clear to me that it was aimed for guys, even the cash shop items had better gear for guys than for girls. I'd normally say, wait it out ad it'll become more balanced. However, Animal Crossing is an exception to that rule. You have no idea how hard I tried to get my fiance(then boyfriend) to play Animal Crossing. I just don't see more guys ever playing Animal Crossing, matter of fact the older they get the more likely they are to stop playing it. I have several guy friends where whenever I mentioned I'm playing Animal Crossing, they all mentioned "Oh, yeah. I used to play the Gamecube version of that game. It was cool". When I ask them why they stopped, they tell me "Well, idk. I just grew out of it I guess".

It's sad and seems unfair to the guys that do play ACNL, but I think it's the way it'll stay unfortunately.

You may be right, RiceBunny. But the people I know are all my own age, which is nearly 50. And NONE of us ever played the GameCube version. We all like New Leaf, and in fact, my brother and some friends of his, all guys, are now playing it.

Still, that may be the exception rather than the rule - I don't know.

I do see a lot of nice qr codes for guys and for male characters out there for New Leaf, but just not as many as for gals. So I think there are a lot to choose from even for guys, but I do wish that there would be more. If I can get the hang of pattern making I'll make some. I've done a few dresses and simple hats, and they are not great, but hopefully not TOO bad, so maybe I can add some to the pool.

As for why you haven't seen them... just too lazy to post on here before I guess? The first two I posted were done a couple months ago and the last one is actually the most recent QRs I've made.

I guess there are more girls playing than guys. That or the guys aren't as interested in designing clothes.

Though, I did create the pattern as a "dress", as he has a long tunic part that hangs down that wouldn't be there if I had used a shirt. So, the character wearing it will run with their arms up. I like to think that the character is just fist-pumping wildly while running, lol.
So, there's that, at least. There has to be more out there.
