So, the Nook phone, right? A phone that holds pretty spiffy applications such as the builder app, a shopping app, & custom designs. Used every day & every time we come to the game. Realtime, we got Nooklink, and sure, it doesn't have as much, but it's easier to message visitors and you can scan in QR codes from previous games. We can customize our phone case to whatever we want, to personalize it for ourselves. So where are the keychains?
Keychains are super cute and can be a fun thing to collect! It could be either craftable or purely a collectible; I think, regardless, a new character would have to come in for that! I can even see them actually crafting it for you! I'm not sure about customizations, but it'd be neat to have the zodiac signs or one of the fruits or a flower hanging off your phone! Design-wise, I don't see it getting complicated - you'd probably have to choose from premade shapes, but you still have the option of changing the colors or modify the chain itself. MAYBE you could even customize it similar to the phone case, and that's a hard maybe; I personally don't see it happening.
I think that one issue would be the size; the phones in-game are pretty small, and though you can get a better view when loading up the phone, it'd be a concern if you can't see the keychain. I'm sure there could be other reasons why this might not be the best idea, but I could only think of this one.
