What do you think of this map? Is it worth keeping or should I search for another?

I especially like how the villagers were lined up.. Huehue

Other than re-tail being extremely far away from your dock I really love this map and think you should keep it. Plus it will probably take ages to find anything better.

Its hard to say because I don't know what you're looking for in a map, my only concerns would be whether you can fit a decent path in front of the houses, the distance between Re-tail and the wharf, and the fact that the second beach doesn't have a ramp to it. Apart from those it looks pretty good, if you like having villagers houses nicely lined up like that it's probably worth keeping.

Because I was new to the AC series I didn't realize the freedom you had when it came to house placement. When I put in the the mayors house I didn't think about where Recycle was and regret that decision to this day because the recycle center is across town making it a pain in the ass to sell items from the island. :(

I like having my retail close to the trainstation, and it would be nice if the townhall was on the other side aswell. Its placement in this map though is supernice!
The river aint too much in the way.

I will move out villagers though.. so the houses may not be the same after that..

For me it would be ideal. Not crazy about the location of retail but then that depends on how much you're going to be running back and forth from the beach. Other than that it's got brilliant space on each side, and I would love to keep villager houses all in a like like that. Really it's whatever you're looking for though :)

If it were me I wouldn't have kept this map only because I'd prefer there to be a bigger stretch of land on the bottom right (where the houses are) but I like my maps to be even in general, it's not to say this isn't an ideal map since you probably have a different idea of what you want in a map. But I say if you like the villager lineup go for it! it's unlikely you'll find a map where all of the villagers are along the bottom - which makes for a more easier time when placing PWPs. If you're unhappy about a couple of things though i'd say it's probably worth resetting. I know it's hard & tedious but don't settle for a map, when you have things that you dislike about the current one because usually those dislikes will remain until you delete again. Good luck!

Personally I don't like it. The private beach is too long, entrances to the beach to close to each other, retail on the other side of the map, which - to me - is a massive pain, the bottom part is really narrow and may be hard to place pwps... The only thing I like is the villagers house placement but yeah, they'll move eventually and plot resetting to get same/similar placement will be hard work. So no, I wouldn't keep it, I wouldn't even think twice.

I like it. Though I prefer that the villagers are spread, honestly. I believe the map looks so empty when they're all lined up. :)

I would have to go with, don't keep it..

I like the idea of Re-tail being by the train station and then maybe adding Brewster's next to it, it would look super cute like a mini shopping area!! But personally, I prefer it not too far from the beach for when you have to haul and sell items.

The other thing that I don't really like about the map are the paths to the beach, there's 2 on 1 side..??
The private beach is cute but those paths..... @_@;

I would personally keep resetting, though I look for different things in a map.

My main problem with this is how far Re-Tail is from the dock, since I make my Bells from the island. I also prefer that the ramps aren't that close to each-other, and private beach strips aren't really my thing, especially if someone washes up there and you end up not being able to get to him...

I personally would reset, because of the beaches. The private beach is really big, and it will make ocean fishing a pain when no fish are spawning on the one side and you have to use your wetsuit to access the other. Plus, I don't know if you're planning on keeping those villagers or not, but if you aren't, then the villagers houses being in a row won't really matter later when they move out. XD So no, I would find a different map.

Oh yeah, I didn't even notice that the beach is also split.ido like it as a whole but if it were me I would be looking for a whole beach rather than a split one. It's just a bit of an annoyance to have to go all the way around town just to get to the other side.
The villager houses being in a row like that is quite ideal as I've found villagers have a tendency to plot much more easily in places where previous villagers have moved from. So having them all in a line like that, assuming you could get any new move ins to follow suit, would look pretty cool. But obviously there's no guarentee

i like it! lots of space for pwps, my only reservation is retail being so far from the dock

That one house that isn't in line with the others would really bother me, plus the fact that the slopes to the beaches are super close together. The placement of the town hall would also frustrate me.

I'm not too fond of it, due to the retail and town hall being so far and the retail is too close to the plaza imo. I like the layout of the beach with all the villagers, but if you aren't going to keep them, the map isn't really worth it. Also the top left corner is extremely large with nothing in it, which I personally dislike because if you were to place brewsters or a pwp there, its not close to anything.
