So Katrina told my misfortune for today or rather for next year. That's right. But when I talked to her again she was warning me for the misfortune of today. I'm confused. First it's for next year and now for today?

katrinas fortunes only have effect for 1 day. you can wear a celebration hat to counteract her effects.

In my experience, she always says random stuff for fortunes... The last time I had her, she told me that Timmy and Tommy cry at night because no one is buying their stuff. ^^; I don't think that the Valentine's Day fortune is literally about Valentine's Day.
