I'm kind of new to this site, and so can someone explain to me why my signature isn't showing up? I have tried pasting an IMG code, and that didn't work. I have also tried just uploading the image itself from my computer, and that doesn't work either?

Not as far as I know. I pasted the img code into the signature text box and it shows up in the preview. Just not when I post.

are you sure you've selected the "show my signature" checkbox when you're posting? it's on the bottom-left

and I'd check to make sure you're showing your signature, as purrheart said, as well as making sure you're using [] tags instead of <> tags
