So I started my ACNL town last week, but only yesterday I found out about plot resetting.

That was after resident number 6 and 7 (Katt and Fang) decided to move into town and put down their house right behind mine, and Fang's on top of a perfect peach sapling...
Well, I forgive them both cause they've become my favorite villagers (and now I like that they're my direct neighbours, teehee ^^). Resident number 8 Curlos placed his house nicely (also before I knew about plot resetting).

But yesterday I dug deeper into the New Leaf knowledge and got to know what plot resetting is. Though I did not understand completely by text, a youtube video quickly gave me the knowledge I needed.
Since I had 8 villagers, I decided to play today safely and start with a new character to see if someone wanted to move in. AND YES there was and it had just plopped its plot down in the middle of my fruit-garden-in-making... (I believe it was Egbert who wanted to come). So there started my plot resetting.

I've been resetting several times, always disliking the plot (in front of my bridge, in front of my town hall, between river/cliff that I could hardly pass, in my fruit-garden again, again in front of bridge) or sometimes the character (Rocket, Groucho).

Now I have Beau that had put down his plot, and not in any major hindrance area, actually in a spot where I had nothing planned yet, and he doesn't demolish any plants or trees, so tomorrow he'll be moving in! =D

He looks real cute, and my other Lazy villager is Drake, who I am not really fond of. So Beau is a real treasure to me now!

Plot resetting can be cool. I was actually camper resetting when I found out I was getting Kid Cat from the void. I was fortunate I was doing that, because he would have gone into a terrible place if I hadn't caught him. I put him into a good spot.

Yay congratz on getting Beau! He's very cute :) I had wolfgang move in right next to a fountain I had and ruined my landscape plans :P But he's awesome so he's forgiven xD

Congrats on getting Beau! He's really cute. I wasn't going to keep him when I first got him but he grew on me and now I couldn't bear to lose him. Plot resetting can really come in handy too. I only started plot resetting a couple of months ago, and I've been playing since June. I wish I had started sooner. It would've saved me a lot of hassle.

Plot resetting is one of the only "cheats" I do.
It's just too annoying otherwise.
Congrats on Beau! He's cute and very popular.

Thanks guys! I also noticed that Beau is kinda popular here on the forums =P Can't wait for him to move in and finish unpacking!

Beau's adorable. He was one of my starters, but he moved on at a time I couldn't play. Sad, sad times.

That's real sad! =( I've only been playing for a week, so I haven't really bonded with most of my villagers yet, but I'd be real sad to see Fang, Katt or Anabelle go. They're always so happy to see me (and making many bug requests XD) that I would miss their happy faces.

I try not to make a big deal out of where my villagers place their houses, and don't want to do much resetting for it (just see where the chips fall)(is that the right expression? I'm Dutch, so my English is a bit clumsy in those sort of things) but I am trying to keep a bit of order and they really should not be in front of bridges or PWPs <_<
