To jump the plank or not to jump the plank that's what I ask myself.. Ive been contemplating resetting for a while now.. with the new update coming I feel like it might push me over the edge..because I think kappn will be back and well I have the small pier...ect ect ect but that's really what it's coming down too.. maybe I wont but i probably will indefinitely eventually jump the plank.. ITLL BE FINE!! Ethier that or just get a switch console... Just another few hundred measly hours and a brand new island!! what do yall think will come with the next update in due time?!?!? Has kappn been seen in any datamines?? Have future updates been seen in data mines?


I've decided to include what I wish from an island for when reseting..
Well
I'll have to find bob on a mystery island for a starter house

I want Rose's for a native flower so I'm gonna use a different birthday..

I'm undecided on a native fruit but not peaches..

Preferably I'd like the biggest peninsula
& I want a river outlet that is right behind the peninsula

I need the longest pier..

On the left or right side I want the peninsula with the river outlet, the pier and the secret beach..
& ideally I want the other river outlet on the same side of the bottom of the island

I also want the center of residents services to be lined up directly or just one off with the airport boardwalk and a good distance from each other and on the opposite side of the southern river outlet from the side with the pier and all...

And southern big rock formations with tide pools...

Preferably a yellow airport I suppose to match my switch lite

Considering the fact it took me several hours to find my last island I'm considering just getting a switch console because that would be rad..but there all sold out right now.


Right now my islands resident services is one off but I've sold the problem tremendously so that's why I dont particularly mind if it's one off..
I have peaches and native flower is pansies..
The airport is yellow
But the beach is in the middle and not on the side, and the pier is not long...

It is kinda scary but at the same time this is what I signed up for to play the game and Ethier way I'm still playin... that is if I dont get stuck and never find an island again like the infamous @Sheba..

Getting resident services to line up exactly to the airport will be just about impossible. Mine is pretty close to being lined up but is still off by about 3 spaces I would say from center. If you do reset, try to avoid having too many requirements. You'll spend hours resetting and when you settle on something finally, you may burn out very fast. It's kinda crazy how many people I've seen drive themselves insane over their vision of perfection instead of just enjoying the game.

I'm not against resetting, just try to not go down that path of insanity. Loool.

I remember atleast every so often seeing what looked like residents services and the airport to be lined up the last time I was resetting for hours..

I've also seen quite a few that were lined up!! Heres a forum where people say theres is..

Centered plaza

Before i waste my time trying to find one. is there an island that has it's plaza centered to the airport? what i mean is that if i get of the airport, and walk straight up that it will be to the centre of the plaza? ( and there for the doors of the building it will hold later on ) ( also how...

I really thought i had it lined up last time but I was in a rush because I was afraid of time traveling then... and I wanted to complete the cherry blossom diy set...and weeks later when i realized it was one off i nearly lost my head but then i came up with a nice solution eventually..

I've really been warming up to the idea of just resetting.. I couldn't imagine after I did spend hours and days non stop trying to complete the cherry blossom set after rushing to reset and find a map for hours.. needless to say when I realized it was one off I baught a second switch with Hope's to return the first one once finding a suitable island on the second.. but that never happend because I couldn't even bare to watch the beginning airport scene over and over again.. those weeks later was still too soon.. after realized what a horrible idea it is to have two switch lites and not even a switch console I quickly returned the second switch..

I just simply do not have time to do everything so fast with how quickly the updates and seasons are going.. very busy with life so I've had to time travel and now I'm not so afraid of it and I actually love it! Well theres a little part of me that feels wierd about it though I think if I were to reset I'd simply HAVE TO

Good luck if you try to reset! I'm too attached to my island to reset, even though I hate some stuff about. it (airport doesn't line up, small peninsula, etc.)
