Jock villagers like me? (as a friend)

So I've been wondering about this for a bit, and thinking why?

So, in my very first town, Scoot was my best friend, and one of my original 5. He hosted my first birthday in this game (my 9th ) and lots of friendship stuff... never moved out...yada yada ya and we were best friends until i reset.

In my second town, Sparro was my best friend. Also a jock. He hosted my birthday, gave me stuffs and we were best friends as well. Also never moved out, and one of my original 5. Reset again, bye bye Sparro.

In my current town, same situation with Jitters....?????? jeez ugh. Lolly was a nice friend in my second and is in my current town, plus i preferred her since she was cuter, so i kicked out Jitters and kept Lolly as my best friend.

Lolly is nice like those three, she hosted my birthday, visited my house usually, and gave me gifts....but she did move out once and isnt the same as those dudes. I dont know why they were so attached to me....weird, right?

Sooooo uhh have you been/are you in the same situation as this? Any idea why?

(lol this makes me wanna put those three in my town...i feel bad for rejecting them so much, they were great)

Maybe you subconsciously have been talking to those jocks more than your other villagers? I've never had this happen, since I'm besties with all my villagers haha.

Idk cause that situation was 2013-2015 so I don't exactly remember....I know I talked to my other villagers too, but the jocks were quite friendly with me more than the others so why not be friendly back?
