apologies if I'm posting in the wrong area, just wanted to share my experience.
So today was my first time "giving a villager away" (Tangy) to my best friend. We accidentally disconnected once (internet issues) and with glitches coming on about online play I got nervous but didn't worry too much. She asked Tangy again when I gave her the dodo code - there was no "double asking" aka moving villager calling resident services twice - so I doubt she will encounter the villager glitch, (edit as I was writing this: she TT and she's safe!)
Immediately when she talked to Tangy I went to check on Tangy because I thought she would tell me "I'm excited to go to *Friend's Town*" - turns out, her door says "I've Moved Out"
I thought I had the glitch + felt even more worried that my friend had glitched too but I time traveled to the next day with a perfectly fine empty plot.
TLDR; if you give a villager away, their house will say "I've moved out" until the next day!
Please correct me if I'm wrong! I've never had experience with giving someone away so I wanted to share my experience so others don't get scared about glitched plots! Please let me know if you had similar experiences!
Now the hunt for Judy begins! Not sure if there's Seventeen fans here, but her fur matches Seventeen's colors LOL! I have to have her!
