I've got an idea for flower designs in my town...

I'm going to do a half and half flower design in Twinleaf. The northern half will have a sunny sky flower pattern with clouds while the southern half will have a moon with stars design.

I need some ideas for the Blue, White, Yellow, and Orange flowers I'll be using. Any favored types for this?

That sounds pretty.
In my opinion, the cosmos and pansies seem to give off more of a sunny feel. Additionally, white lilies and blue violets strike me as more nighttime flowers...
In any case, best of luck in your endeavors! I bet it will look nice.

It'll be work but less complicated to keep than paths and doesn't require me to plant any alt character houses which I really don't have room for. XD

white cosmo and tulips for the clouds? orange pansies for the sun would look cool

violets (blue and purple) and white lilies for the moon! maybe yellow violets for the stars?

I'd suggest pansies, cosmos and lilies for the northern half (I really like orange pansies), and roses, violets & tulips for the southern half.
