I've been using obtained all wrong!

Okay okay so you know how in a lot of people's signatures (mainly ones by A r i a n e), they have villagers and then villagers with a little sprite beside them showing that they're "obtained"? I thought that meant that,, they're villagers you got from people, not that all the villagers in the signature were part of a wishlist and the obtained ones were the ones you actually had. I feel like a silly---

You're not wrong.

However you got your villager(s) is how you obtained them. ^_^

That's how my signature is set up. All of the sprites with black roses are the ones I have in my village now. Only Ankha & Molly are original. The other's I've gotten in different ways.

Yeah! I'm gonna keep it the way it is but,, I honestly thought it was completely different before

People used to have their signatures show the dreamies they wanted - so if you looked at their signature and if the villagers DID NOT have a flower or fruit besides their sprite - it usually meant the mayor was in search of the other ?non obtained? villagers.

It was nice to see who people were looking for. When I had a cycling town I used to contact people to let them know that I had their dreamies.
