It's gone... (another one of those corruption stories)

I'm so sorry that this happened to you! Nobody deserves to have their data corrupted. //hugs ;; I know it's hard to move on from such a horrible thing as that, but the people of this forum are here for you! Just let us know if you need anything. I'm here to support you (▰˘◡˘▰)

Whatever you decide to do, I wish you the best of luck! ♪❤

Yes there are a lot of these posts about losing towns, and I don't think I've seen one thread where a player says in detail what has happened.
And mainly they say nothing at all.

This is what gets me. It's not that I don't believe people it's just nobody is willing to sit down and tell me what happened in exact detail. I ask this in every thread I see and they just say "it just happened".

Well, "I just don't believe that."

I'm sorry this happened to you :'(
I would be completely torn if this happened to me :(

If it was a digital copy, that was probably the reason why-- my friend had a digital copy, and then it just vanished from his home menu about 2 year later :(

Aw, man... I'm really sorry to hear this. :( I lurk the trading villagers forum a lot and I've seen your cycling thread quite often. I've never posted in it but I've read through it and you helped make a lot of people happy. *hugs*

It can be really hard when a game corrupts, especially when it's a game like Animal Crossing that people can become so attached to. I'm not sure how I would feel if either of my towns somehow corrupted, but I'm sure it wouldn't be a very good reaction. If time away from AC is what you need then it might be best. You should do what feels best for you.
