This isn't a lot of bells by no means but I earned these myself.

That is one of the great things about this game, earning stuff yourself instead of buying it. This took me 3 days to save up. And I have a great feeling of accomplishment right now. Sorry I just wanted to share this with you guys. :)

Good job!! It can be a struggle earning bells and it's definitely an accomplishment when you do ^^!

I think it's important to earn stuff yourself, too. I don't really understand the point of playing any game if you ignore parts of it o.o

Thank you. Yeah, it's time consuming but I made a vow when I restarted and that vow was I'm going to earn everything in this game, not buy it. It does make the game a lot more fun because it's more challenging but also more rewarding.

I wholeheartedly agree. I admit when I was younger I used to be more impatient and would hack things into games. Now however I just don't like to. It doesn't give you the same thrill of putting the time and hard work into the game yourself. It's so much more fulfilling

good job!

i admit i'm one of those people who hate earning things themselves, but the occasional time when i do, it feels pretty good ^^

Thank you guys. It's a great feeling. Yeah in a town I played before, I bought 39 million bells from someone then the game just wasn't fun because I was able to pay off everything really quickly, and I didn't feel like I accomplished anything on my own. I didn't like that feeling. It feels great to know that all the stuff in your town is being paid for by bells you earned yourself, and it also makes you feel like the town is truly yours. It's not like making money in this game is hard, it's not. It's tedious but not hard.

This is not a game that's not meant to be rushed through. If it was, everything would already be unlocked when you first start the game, instead of having to wait a week or two weeks, etc and doing specific tasks in order to unlock stuff.

I completely agree!
It gives you a feeling of satisfaction, since you actually put effort and obtained something
Good job btw! :)

I know the feeling. Even I don't hack bells in, since it destroys all challenge and the games stop being fun.

((I stopped playing another game called Story of Seasons for a similar reason; even though I didn't really "cheat" I grew lots of Flax seeds which can be turned into Gold Cloth and sold for ridiculously high amounts of gold, and I got bored of the game since that removed all the challenge. If I ever start that game again (the tutorial is unskippable and LOOOOONG which is definitely an obstacle) I'm deffo not gonna grow many flax plants in that playthrough!))

I totally agree. A year or so ago I gave up all my tbts in exchange for in game bells (I got almost enough to pay off at least 5 house payments + more, which I did.) It was fun for a bit, but then I realized I could get most of whatever I wanted without doing anything. The game got intensely boring, since I'm not one of the players who go for every bug or every fish I really had nothing to try and aim for. I had all my dreamies, my house was as big as I wanted, and I had most of the rooms decorated the way I liked.

good job :) i am happy to say i was able to pay off my house entirely myself. the first year i had animal crossing, i would go to the island, have a list of the highest priced bugs/fish nearby in a notepad document. i would release the cheapies, and just do that until the basket was all full of only expensive catches... easily can get 200-400k bells in one trip to the island that way. i even p much memorized the prices after a month of doing it lol. now i dont have the prices memorized anymore, i can just remember which ones get me the most bells.
