Nintendo seem to purposely put the best looking villagers in houses with crappy exteriors.

I just got rid of Freya and Flora because of that.

I just got Pietro and the inside of his house is so cute my goodness I’m sure it has the same flooring and wallpaper as Julians. But he has the little springy ride on horses it’s just so cute.

I like all the houses that actually look like houses. I love the houses for the starter lazy, peppy, and normal. I do like Leopold's classroom and Merengue's little diner even though they aren't houses.

I know this isn't really a "like" its a dislike. I dislike raymonds interior a lot. To me its cramped, and doesn't fit his aesthetic at all. Was definitely disappointed

Diana, Marshal, Cranston, Julia, Lily, Reneigh, Dobie, Celia, Tangy, Midge, Rosie are all villagers I have/had with houses I like. I'm also a big fan of Gala's house because it's a literal piggy bank and I think it's hilarious.

For most of these houses I like the interior and exteriors. The ones I don't like the exteriors of is Cranston and Marshal to a degree.
Julia and Celia are both super underrate villagers with great designs.

UM Julian's house is top-notch. Everything about it is great, from the star garlands to the Zodiac furniture. Throw in a Nova Light or star clock, and it's good to go.

i haven’t seen many interiors but so far i like julia’s, skye’s and julian’s the most!

as for exteriors, i like the 3 above + marina’s!

Definitely Erik and Beau (although I love Poppy and Pecan’s houses too!). Both deer neighbors have cabin exteriors, but one has a winter skii theme and the other has a spring meadow theme. I lowkey miss Erik’s old interior from ACNL, but I still think his is probably the best in my mind. :3

The interior I like best is one from a starter home. Hornsby now lives in a home with wooden log furniture, and it just looks so cozy. Like a little cabin in the Alps! It also has all the necessities that make it feel like a home: Table + chairs, shelves, a big bed, books... sometimes interiors lack some of those and it just makes their houses seem less like a home to me.

As for the outsides of homes, I wish we could customize those. I'd pick the shape of a 'round' home like Tutu's or Piper's, and change the colors a bit to beige/brown so it would fit the beach town lineup. This is the shape I'm talking about:

The simple brown cottages (Erik, Beau, Molly, Teddy etc.) are my favorite!

of villagers on my island I love Judy's house, the pastel colour scheme is really pleasing to look at. on a side note, i hate what they did with Zucker's interior, his NL house was x100 times better suited to him. now it just looks like a half empty shack.
in terms of exteriors, there aren't very many that really stand out to me but i like the woodsy/cabin looking ones, i.e. Erik's, Maple's and Fauna's.
