Is your town a desert?

If you go in my town I have little pebbles on the floor due to the animals. The reason why is that I never cleaned there kitty box.

Hey but don't you guys think it ruins the fun of game without being able to travel freely in your town? I've already signed a petition for this issue

It won't do any good. Nintendo can't patch games through the Wii because of it's lousy infrastructure.
The most you could hope for would be a massive recall and disc replacement offer with fresh prints that removes the animal tracks feature, but at this point and time, that's unlikely going to happen; Nintendo would have to receive a HUGE amount of feedback on the feature from a good chunk players, and that isn't happening.

And no, it doesn't ruin it for me.

You can put some patterns on the ground all over your town leading to places like Nook's, your house, Town hall and others.

Ah i have grass left, but when i see patches of dirt i put patterns on them so the grass grows back , and so i know not to run over them.

Putting patterns isn't annoying if you can't run on them. Just walk. What's the rush? I planted flowers around my footpaths so I can't run much. I've already done half the town.
