Is this normal?

Hello,

So today I was running around my Island doing chores and gifting villagers and I came across a Jacob's Ladder flower on a cliff.... But my island is only 4 stars... Is this a thing that can happen or is my island broken?

I thought they only appeared at 5 stars.

As far as I know, they only appear at 5 stars.

Maybe your island was briefly 5 stars without you realising, then something you altered before finding the lily of the valley tipped the scales and nudged you back down to 4 stars?

Yeah what @Barney said happened to me. I was 4 stars and then I found one and then I checked with Isabelle who still said I was only 4 stars. I must've gotten 5 stars and then lost it but not before the flower grew in.

Ohh, that makes sense. I must have gone back down to 4 stars when I dropped items outside my house XD
