So I’ve started a new island right.
I was putting down a plot when one of my starter villagers pinged and asked me to leave. I agreed & she left and I had Katt moving in, taking my starters old plot. Now, what’s weird: the plot i put down when I got the move out suggestion is still empty. Even after a week!
Is that a bug or normal? I don’t have miles to hunt so I wanted a random move in but nothing yet. I’m so confused lol

after a full 7 days ? and is the plot you put down one of the three nook gives you where you have to decorate and donate items ?

how odd ? ive had plots be vacant for more than one day but it /never/ went empty for a week. theres a forum on here about the duration empty lots are empty and it seems to randomly pick from 1-3 days after a villager moved out. maybe ur just really lucky ? if this goes on for more than 1/2 weeks its definitely a bug.

That does seem like a long time. I know one time it took five days for an empty plot to fill on my island. The only other time I let it fill on its own, it only took the second day. Usually I go island hopping. I know that I saw somebody else post saying that they had been waiting over a week, but I can't imagine that's very common. Now I kind of want to see how long before the next empty plot gets filled in on my island. But I don't want to be upset with whoever I get.
