Is there any way to make a villager want to move?

I'm so mad i've been wanting some certain villagers to move and whenever they say they're going to i'm like yes please! But they ending up staying. >:C
And now I have freaking cutie Diana camping in my town and I can't have her because i'm full!!!

I don't want to time travel. ):
I've never once done it since I got the game when it came out.

A common method involves talking to them once and then ignoring them, but there's a chance they'd change their mind about moving because your friendship level with them isn't high enough.

I suggest just treating them like everyone else. Do favors for them, talk to them, etc. Villagers with high friendship are programmed to leave sooner

It might take a while, but when they're ready to move, they will without changing their mind

If you have a villager that says they want to move and you agree with them to move, but then suddenly change their mind, you can do what I do. When a villager tells you they want to move and you agree on the first day they bring it up, check up on them every day to make sure they move. Here's the important part, before you talk to them each day, save your game. If you agree with them to move and they change their mind, turn off your game and keep agreeing with them to move until they stick with their idea to move.

What I would do is check with a couple villagers to see if someone's moving. If the villager you want to leave is rumored to be leaving, save your game before they ping you. That way, if they ping you to move and decide they wanna stay you can just close your game and try again! :3
