Is there a way to tell how many villagers you've cycled?

My youngest sister had Tangy move out of her town aaages ago, and has wanted her back ever since. I recently was able to get her from someone, but when trying to move her directly into my sister's town she wouldn't go. She's currently sitting in one of my towns, but I'd really like to get her moved before long. I have no idea how many villagers my sister has cycled, though (I mean, it's been months since Tangy moved). Is there any way to tell or figure that out? I don't want to end up getting Tangy in boxes just to be unable to get her into my sister's town later :c I suppose I could just cycle her through another 16 villagers so I'm 100% sure, but that's soooo tedious.
