Is there a secret hairstyle?

So, I was trying to figure out if there's some secret hairstyle that exists. I've seen a few people come to my cycling town with a hairstyle that doesnt exist in thonky's hair guide or bidoofs (the hair style that looks like its a bow).

Is it some sort of secret style? or is it because of a hack? (don't know much about acnl hacks)

There's hairstyles which are wigs. Bow, Geisha, Regent and a few others.

Also some hats have wigs attached, like the Midna and Hero's hat.

The bow wig is just one of the wigs that I've never seen before and looks very natural xD

Although I prefer a ponytail or pigtails, the bedhead look is funny. I like it.

I love bedhead too, and my hair in real life is actually cut into an anime style sorta spikey, but pretty like that.

The closest thing to a secret hairstyle is after you get all the female haircuts, you can open up the male haircuts. But they didn't really suit Mitsuko!
I usually go with the snow-white vintage cut, or pink/green hair in a long style. The avatar has too much of a round/chubby face for anything shorter.

Oooh that bow wig! I still don't have one, but would LOVE one. They are so cute. It looks great.
