Is there a limit to how many Moai statues can be built?

My town is tropical themed and so I'm planning on having lots of Maoi statues! I've heard that you can only build 2 of the same PWP, though. Is that true? Does it only apply to some PWPs? Thanks for any advice!

I have built around 4-5 Wisteria Trellis in my town and 3 flower arch in my other town, so I guess it might only apply to some pwp.

I have....I actually can't remember but I think 5 Moai statues in my second town. I have them spaced out along the lower cliff. I don't know if you'd run into a limit eventually but maybe space them out at first in case you have to stop at 6 or so? (I also have 4 pyramids, so no limit on that either)

Some PWPs have limits. You may end up having troubles with the total limit of 30(?).

Yeah, I was wondering about that, too. I don't think I have that many PWPs at the moment though, so it should be fine for now I hope Thank you!
