Is the Campsite Worth It?

I was wondering what your thoughts were about the campsite. I'd love to have to get better villagers, but I don't think I will really want it after a while, and I wouldn't be able to demolish it. So far, I have gotten about 6 of my dream villagers, so I don't know if I should get the campsite. What do you guys think?

I got my campsite just because I thought it would be a nice addition to my town~
I think it adds a little spice to my town life and I got two beloved villagers from it (Fang and Sally)
It also looks really cute in the winter when someone is camping!

You could probably get your dreamies on a cycling thread here. Poppy might be a bit harder to obtain, though. You could campsite reset for her if you wanted to, but if you don't, it probably wouldn't be worth it. I built it partially because I wanted to get cool, new villagers, but also because I wanted to be able to meet new ones after I got all of my dreamies.

I have it right next to the train station! I don't mind how it looks. Even without a camper.

Yes I think it looks pretty good. I surrounded it with flowers and its in a good spot so it really doesn't look like much of an eyesore with or without campers.

I never built a campsite in my town and I don't regret not building it c:
It takes up space where I could possibly put a better looking PWP.

After you get all your dreamies it could sort of be a nuisance, because
all there is left to do is see villagers and play mini games.
I also think that it looks very unappealing when a camper isn't inside.

I regretted building my campsite in the last two towns I had. I never used it and I built it in a bad spot both times. If you think you'll use it or want it for aesthetics then go ahead and build it, but if you're unsure then I'd suggest waiting.

Thank you everyone! I think that the campsite looks good in some towns, but I don't really think the theme/layout of my town will work with it very well. If it could be destroyed, I would probably get it, but unfortunately it is not!

I used it a lot more before I found out about TBT, haha, makes sense, right? I think it can look really nice with some outdoor pwps so aesthetically i think it can look very pleasing. For your situation, I think you're already far enough getting most of your dreamies that not getting one would be best.

I have one in my town and I made it into a feature of sorts. I have only ever seen it have someone in it twice, and both times it was someone I had no interest in having in my town. It is in an area that I hardly ever go to for any other reason than to see if anyone is in camp! I could easily give it a miss if I had to. I am having the same dilemma though! I have a 2nd town and Im wondering if it is really worth it, especially since I am not really happy with the layout of my town as it is at the moment. Im just really avoiding resetting the map since I takes aaaaages to get a map layout that I like.

So far I like mine even though I haven't gotten any villagers I want to have in my town.
It's still fun to discover and talk to new villagers once in a while, and play games with them!
It creates a little dynamism in the town.

I would personally say so, as it means you have a bit more control over your villagers! For example, if you have 9 villagers, and have a campsite, it will prevent a random 10th villager from moving in, which can be very useful as it means you can get rid of a villger, and choose in your own time when a new one moves in!

It also looks very cute when a villager is camping, and you can get rare items from the villagers camping there and make a lot of bells by selling things through the little games the villagers play.

It looks so cute in my town （＾∇＾） not to mention i really like the items you can get with campers ( ^ω^ )
You can actually find pretty good villagers in there. Thats where i got Rudy for a while (⌒▽⌒)

I'd say that it's worth getting. At least you have a chance of getting good villagers. Plus, it's only what, 60k? That's easily paid off if you go and sell/auction off a villager you get from there.

I think it's worth getting, you can get the rest of your dreamies (which may i say the first day its built you can reset the camp 100% villager chance so if you want a dreamie ONE REALLY bad it's worth that) you can get items during the summer and winter times only from the camp.
You can make a cute little woodsy area <3 and a log bench with flowers and it looks really good! Just depends on how you ya'know decorate the area just don't leave it barren and blank around the camp is my advice.

And even when you have all you want out of villagers the games are still fun and having a camper vist is still awesome with the games and "who's gonna be in the camp this time?! " excitement.
So yush it's worth it ^~^

I think it's a waste of space, because I didn't campsite reset or even find a villager dreamie ONCE in the whole time I had it. It's so much easier to get them from the villager trading plaza, and that space that you use for it could be used to build a hotspring or something pretty/worth looking at.

It's an eyesore IMO and, unless you plan on spending ages campsite resetting, it's not worth it.

The camp site is great and really worth it. I didn't really want it first but I thought "Ok why not"
got via the tent: Rosie, Marina, Kabuki, Francine, Mira (who I accidentally voided :|), Flurry, Kid Cat and I saw a bunch of other cool villagers in my tent (like Skye? I think that one is popular.. Shep, Genji, Apple .. the list is super long).
