As weird as it sounds, I seriously just want Raymond to leave my island immediately so the person wanting to trade for him is given him ASAP

I've been trying to TT him out for nearly a whole day and he just won't ask to leave (even using the trick in this video)

Every other villager on my island has at least had the thought bubble atleast 5 times EACH and Raymond hasn't had it even once, so I'm seriously considering to getting a random camper on my island and RNGing them to ask to boot Raymond out, I'm just concerned if the bug's still in the game in some form because I'd hate to see them get a glitched Raymond

I've been checking each villagers outside at peak times (like 12PM - 3PM)

I've seriously never had so much trouble getting a villager to leave, I'm seriously concerned if it's because he was acquired via the Campsite trick and replaced another villager

I think it may be possible that the most recent villager you moved in can't move out naturally? I'm not entirely sure if that's true, but I've seen it floating around.

Also, I have seen a whoole bunch'a people on new neighbour network saying amiibo kick-outs are completely safe now, and the same would go for an rng camper I'd assume. It's been tested by multiple people and they claim it's fine now but I can't say for certain because I don't TT and the only villager I've sold since the patch has been a natural move out.

if you're still uncertain I'd say try moving someone else out first and then trying again
eta: oh and also mayhaps ask the person you're trading with to see if they'd be comfortable with adopting a kicked raymond

Far as I'm aware, yes, it is. However, the exterior has a chance of bugging out if you're time travelling. They've yet to fix that one, though I don't think it matters if they're being adopted!

However, using the method to detect bugged villagers, which is seeing if they can be re-invited after intially being invited is never a bad idea!

I think it is but not a 100% sure about the bug sorry
Was he the last villager that moved in?
I see, and yes he was

Okay if it's true that the latest move in can't move out, that makes perfect sense, I have Hornsby I've been considering to move out in favor of another villager, I can quickly get Hornsby out and then I do assume Raymond may very well ask to move shortly afterward

I'll try doing that and hope that the results change

I had the same problem with Whitney once, she wouldn't move out for hours but then after I got another villager in she wanted to leave on the third try! Hope you have as much luck as I had!

I'm not 100% sure, but if he was the last villager to move in, I don't think he can move. I tried getting rid of Audie for almost 5 days until I gave up and got rid of someone else first, and after trying again, she was like the 3rd person who wanted to move

EDIT: Should've read the comments first lmao

Thanks for your reply, I'll just have to hope someone has Raddle on here to trade 😳
