I think its quite cute when villagers like Colton in my town are talking about being a hopeless romantic. :3 I think if you're too serious about it, then its wrong. I guess it makes them seem more human-like in a way maybe?

Well, after I saw nibbles and drake literally always at each other house and Drake saying things like she's a flower and then Nibbles saying "please don't tell Drake I have fleas, that'd be embarrassing." I started to ship them. But due to my headcannon ages, it's more of childhood/young teenage crush type thing.

Just like any other ships, they're perfectly normal and fine.
It's just when they turn into crazy shippers it gets horrible (more so in TV show fandoms when shippers make treats when their ship doesn't get what they want) - i dont see how any/much of that could happen in an AC ship so i'm fine with it.

I'm also not in the AC fandom so i never really notice shipping so go ahead and do it, doesn't bother me

I shipped Kyle and Biskit ever since I saw them by the riverbank one night touchin' snoots together. Then Kyle noticed me and was all, "PING!!" running over to me and I'm like dude, we cool, high five man~

I actually ship a decent amount of villagers. The ones I ship hardest though is Fuschia and Merengue.

I ship Greta and Genji together and nobody can stop me besides Nintendo filing a cease and desist thing.
Also I like to think Snake is their friend and Kabuki and Greta are related because they are both based on Japanese traditional performing dance/art.
