Is my town messy?

I see. Maybe it's the random colours that are making me think it's messy...?
Do you think the random colours are bad?
Random colours aren't bad, but I prefer to have mine organised, or kind of taking it in turns like a checkered pattern, eg. pink and white. That said though my town is lacking in decoration, so yours is looking far better than mine at least!

The random colors are not bad, but if it looks messy to you, you may pick up the colors that stand out the most and start arranging them differently so it can look like a pattern.
My town has a lot of the random flowers everywhere because of my beautiful ordinance, so we're kinda on the same boat, haha xD
I don't think it looks messy, the different flowers make it look busier but that doesn't have to be bad. It looks fine to me. I think most of the cluttery vibes I pick up come from the bricks in the empty campsite but that's it. I wouldn't worry too much, if you want to do something, maybe fill in the missing tiles (as an alternative to rearranging the flowers) since I think that would make it look different.
well for starters you do have your flowers organized by species. I think it's good enough for now... until you really know what PWP is going to go where.
Also, do you like the zig-zagging path? My brother says it's bad, but I'm not so sure.

It's much, MUCH cleaner than my town...
I'm suddenly very curious about what your town looks like...
Zig-zagging path... some people does it really well and others fail at it. The ones fail at it usually are the ones using a narrow zigzagging path as a convenience to cut across flowers and trees. They don't work out because one-tile wide path is hidden by the plants. It's very hard to follow.
I say keep your zig-zagging path wide and try to find/make diagonal paths for it.

Yes your path at the moment works out fine. I don't think we ran into any trouble with it yesterday and we been to everywhere yesterday. Doesn't look messy at all. In the process of landscaping with paths. I don't have much flowers, since all of them are surrounding the rivers! 
I kinda like the tiles the way they are actually...I think it creates and effect. But the random flowers aren't appealing to me. Also may look messy atm cuz the trees haven't grown in and just blend in with the flowers. I'm sure now that you've organized the flowers, and once the trees grow up, it'll look nice.
