Is it possible for the 10th and most recent villager to move out?

I recently had Muffy move in because I ran out of Nook tickets (and patience) while I was island hopping for a new villager and I had to settle on her.

Muffy seems pretty sweet but I was searching for a peppy villager because that’s the only personality I’m currently missing, so I want Muffy the uchi out again after I save up the nook tickets.

Does anyone know if it is possible for the newest move in to get the thought bubble to leave? Or will I have to go through the hassle of moving out another one of my existing villagers first? I’ve also become quite attached to the other nine so I’d be sad if I had to see one go.

I’m not sure about through the thought bubble, but I was able to move out my most recent villager (Joey), with someone who just naturally showed up in my campsite (Daisy). You might have to do some reloading, though, because which of your current villagers they might ask to move out is random.

Yes. A couple of weeks ago Tex was literally on my island for 4 or so days before leaving and he was my 10th villager. I only forgot to speak to him for two days by mistake

Its probably random, my latest villager asked to move out after moving in two weeks ago.

I've been asking on discord for days.As I'm trying to kick out Patty who accidentally randomly moved in.
I've tried various methods of TTing to move out residents. They've managed to work on every villager except my newest one. I've been spending the last several days trying. I'm not sure if it's "low chance" anymore.

Had any luck with it? I’ve also been TTing all day and all my other villagers have had the bubble over their heads except Muffy
