Is hamphrey worth getting to know?

I mean when I placed my first three houses I absentmindedly invited apple and flurry both hamsters. I wasn’t paying attention with my 4th or fifth house because I was preoccupied with the campsite and inviting Jacques so the game added hamphrey. I’m not opposed to grumps I just have too many hamsters. I Like a variety of species. I have been ignoring him hoping he’d leave but so far only tank and Jacques have asked. ( tank stayed Jacques left ). So my question is who likes hamphrey? Is he worth getting to know?

Give him the hamster cage item so that he has a crisis and runs away!! I'm just kidding, ignoring villagers does nothing to increase the chances of them moving out, so dont be afraid to try to enjoy him and the hamster party while he's there! :>

And i could be wrong but isnt there a nook miles milestone for talking to all of your animals once a day? I know it's pretty unimportant but if you like completing those that can be something to keep in mind

i have him on my island and i like him because i play pretty late at night and he's always awake and gives me gifts! i gave him a lil business suit and he's like a tiny grandpa when he walks around and sits down everywhere because he has "old bones"

me too LOL maybe he'll decide to move out on his own! i feel like it's been pretty random so maybe there's a chance!
