Is Cyd not popular?

I don't immediately associate a face with the name (and I totally forgot he was new)... I think with the additions of Sherb, Raymond, Judy, and Audie, some of the other new villagers got overlooked.

He is pretty cute; like a male version of Cherry. However, unlike Cherry, he's mostly red - I think his design could be improved upon if he weren't so red and if his mohawk and tail were a colour that was more complementary to his red.

I think him and Dom are my favourites out of the new villagers. Then again I love the elephants but I can see how they could be overlooked by other cranky types/species. I've been island hopping for Cyd for my next island addition!

Yeah. I gave up Octavian (who I really like) so that I could make Cyd my resident cranky. I love elephants and I also like that he look youthful.

I never hear anyone talk about him that much! But he's kinda cute. I've never personally had him, though.

He's pretty neat! I i have some other cranky villagers that I favor more, but I do like how unique he feels.

I have similar feelings with you but towards Megan. Her expressions in her eyes are so well done and clear.

I think Cyd looks cute as heck and I would love to see him on my island. Also, I have Megan and I think she is the sweetest and squeezy-est looking bear ever. Big bears are so precious!

He isn’t popular really but I saw him on a mystery island and think he is up there with Ellie and Dizzy as good elephants. If I didn’t love Murphy so much I’d consider Cyd.

he seems to fall under the same category as megan - not as popular as the other new villagers but some people still seek them out! i personally think he’s really cool ;;

In all seriousness, he’s such a great design and has an awesome color palette (green nails!); as well as some really unique eyes. I’m a bit in love, yes.

He looks really cool tbh, but got overshadowed by a lot of more popular new villagers so compared to them, he has not been hyped up unfortunately (plus elephant villagers aren't that popular as well), but he has the potential to be popular as he has a very good design and colors!

apparently, he's not that popular, but neither is megan, which greatly upsets me.

A lot of people don't like him, WHICH SHOULD BE PUNISHED BY LAW.
He's one of my favorites, like Top3 Villagers for me.
I love him so much, he's a sweet cranky he loves to sing, he dances or sings everyday on my island.
And I love his design : vibrant red, cool punk look with unique eyes and cute hair.

His design is rather nice, but I'm not a fan of this tone of red. Apart from that, I consider him one of my favorites out of the new villagers, but in general, the others overshadow him as of now.

I just bought Cyd from someone yesterday and he's one of my favorites now! He reminds me of old-timer punks and bikers with a heart of gold. He looks awesome in the visual punk outfit i gave him

I think cranky villagers in general aren't too popular compared to other types. I'm looking at you smug, lazy and normal.

Cyd does look kinda cool, though.

My wife found him on a mystery island, we invited him. His jacket is too cool for being left alone in said island...
