Is anyone else struggling with low FPS?

Is it all over your island or just one area?
You may just have more stuff out than the game can handle at once, even if you don't think it's too much. I had an area that caused frame rate drops.

Redesigned the area and its gone away.
Came back today but I blame that on the confetti and feathers.

It’s so frustrating. Why did nintendo let us put items outside if the game struggles to cope with more than 10 items in one area. 😓

I noticed it was pretty bad this morning when I started up my game to play Festivale. Last time I played it wasn't lagging this bad but it's been awhile since I played NH. It's like running through molasses lmao. My island does have a decent amount of stuff though so maybe I need to pull back on the outdoor furniture.

This happens more frequently for me on the lower portion of my island. I thought it was because I have more located there (The stores, museums, town hall, etc.). It can get frustrating, especially when my character is running.

I've been having framerate issues since I started playing the game lol. I get the issue all the time, since the beginning I've had tons of flowers on my island which always causes the framerate to drop from 60 to like 40-45 fps. part of that might be because I almost always play in handheld mode (I've been unable to play tv mode for a while), though I think I still have the issue even in tv mode.

you'd think they would do a QoL update which would help w the framerate issues, but nope. luckily it doesn't bother me too much but it is pretty annoying when I'm trying to take a video capture of a section on my island.

Its been like this since the game came out. Everytime I go to an island that is very decorative and has a lot of stuff placed it lags like crazy and there is a lot of pop ins that happen.
So true
it is annoying but no choice here (wish we have a switch pro because I think the switch is not powerful enough)

My frame rate drops all the time, especally when I have items on the ground or a bunch of moving things in the same space
