My left JoyCon is doing this. This never was an issue before, I tried to clean it, update my Joycons, collaborate them... nothing. anyone else JoyCons doing this?

yeah, both of my joycons drift which sucks, and my left one doesn't sense moving down very well so my character sometimes can't move... down...

the worst thing is that the nintendo repair centers are closed ofc, so we'll have to wait a while for a free repair ;;

I got my Switch at Launch for Christmas and I didn't play it much because all I had was Splatoon 2 (And no Nintendo Online)
After I got New Horizons...Probably almost a week of playing all day, I started noticing the JoyCon drifting to the left. I went to see if I could currently get it fixed because I recalled people talking about it a while back and found that they fix JoyCons for free! However thanks for a certain virus, they're not currently accepting tickets right now...

My left JoyCon started drifting and just like you, I tried everything to fix it but nothing worked, so I ended up buying a replacement pair - I've had the switch since launch so figured it was about time anyway, and now everything plays smoothly! Hopefully it stays that way lol

yeah it's a big mess but there's nothing i can do, and i'm not going to NOT play animal crossing hehe
honestly contemplating buying a new set entirely out of frustration but i don't really want to shell out the money ;;

yep, mine started after i got ACNH
it's so bad that i can't even look up to the sky to see balloons or stars because my character won't stop moving. it literally doesn't keep still
also it's a pain to do anything like hitting rocks, digging stuff because it keeps moving and i miss the spot i wanna hit

My left one is drifting a ton and its really annoying to fight it.
I'm trying to find replacement sticks but I'm not sure who to order from thats reliable.
I was going to get a second pair of joycons but the pink/green ones are sold out lol

Yeah, my left joycon started doing this right after getting New Horizons. Granted I've had this Switch since launch, and I do have a pro controller so it doesn't bother me that much, but it gets annoying quick.

I brought new JoyCons and tbh I was lucky I was able to get any because right after I got them...they all sold out (I wanted to get the green and pink or purple and orange) and I was able get the grey ones at a decent price from Target

Not to mention joy cons are really expensive like 100$ almost which I can afford but I just don't feel like spending that right now

I bought the pro-controller for damage control 420+ hours no drift yet hope this'll keep me lasting a year or so before it needs replacing and good luck to all you who have the issue! I did actually legit cancel my prior Cyberpunk pre-order desperately because of the drift issue lol, worth it and got my pre-order again <3

Oof that sucks!
Since I've gotten a pro controller and 2 extra joy cons, I don't experience drifting when I use them.
From my experience, only the joy cons you get when you buy a switch drifts the most.

It is such a horrible issue. So much of acnh requires precision or else you end up taking so much longer. A couple of days ago I followed this video
and so far my joy con is working perfectly. It’s only been a couple days but I’m really hoping it lasts. I know you said you tried cleaning but maybe this video can help you out as well?
