I may not like many of Apple's products, but I gotta give 'em props for the iphone. It's awesome, and this next one looks even better. I just hope it won't cost a kidney to buy.

There are so many better phones.

No. Just a kidney and a liver. :P

Looks like they beat Nintendo to the 3D handheld market... I guess. I refuse to awknowledge iTouches/iPhones/iPads as gaming consoles.

It doesn't have 3D support...

Name one phone that can do everything that iPhone 4 can do. Oh wait...you can't, 'cause there is no phone that can! iPhone 4 does practically everything other phones can do, plus so much more, and so much better.

Nevermind. >.> I just realized I had completely misread the article I read earlier because it mentioned 3D.

So at this point, they're doing something Nintendo has already done but stopped using.

What are you talking about? The inward facing camera? That's not really copying Nintendo, it's just natural progression of phone technology. Without an inward facing camera, video calls wouldn't be possible. Besides, Apple started with one camera, Nintendo started with two. The DSi's cameras focus on gaming, whereas the iPhone 4's cameras focus on video calls and recording video. And where are you getting that Nintendo "stopped using" the DSi's cameras?

The only feature I need on a phone is a feature to make calls. All that extra stuff is useless to me.

Um...Nintendo still uses motion sensing, you know. I'm sure you're familiar with the Wii. XD Even so, it's a different kind of motion sensing that the iPhone uses, and for different purposes.

What does iPhone have to do with Mac?

And you still haven't listed any phones that are better than the iPhone 4.

Yes, they're using it on the Wii still. But I recall a couple Warioware games and maybe one or two other handheld games that used motion control. I haven't seen any of that on the DS.

I pretty much stopped watching after the part about video calls.

I can't say that the quality of video calls on a phone network (even if it's 3G) will be as good as Apple claims. For now, I just want them to lower the price of their current iPhone before going out and releasing a newer and more expensive version.

You better not reply with a wall of text.

Take it somewhere else.

I was going to buy this gen's iPhone, but now that the new one is coming out I'll have to delay my purchase a bit. ; ____ ;

That's all I really need, too, but that certainly doesn't make all of the extra stuff "useless". My boyfriend has a first generation iPhone, and you wouldn't believe how useful it's been. We use it for directions, looking up information we need online on the go, etc. It's like his Sonic Screwdriver. And now with the iPhone 4 (which he and I will both be getting), we can do even more with it. Imagine the possibilities of being able to record HD video straight from your phone, and then edit it with iMovie right on the same phone! And video calls are the way of the future. I can't believe that we've gone all these years with only audio calls... Now video is being brought into the mix. It's going to be such a revolution!
