As for the iPad, if it ran OS X, not iPhone OS, it would be 5 times better.

I'd like to take this time to point out that I adore my iPad. And my iPod. Worth every penny. I'd like it a lot more though if Steve would stop being so stubborn and get Flash on the iPad. I don't care if it turns my battery life into nothing. That's a choice that the user should chose.

I honestly don't see why everybody hates on flash not being on the iDevice's. If you want flash desperately bad, jailbreak it and use your own sources.

Maybe it's because a fairly significant portion of the web today still uses Flash content these days? The end user should not be required to do something unsupported like jailbreak their iDevice just to have access to something as essential as Flash content.
