Just downloaded it, I like the checklist feature! :)

(Hoping pictures of the community projects will be up soon)

I'm not sure if anybody mentioned this here actually, or maybe I missed them... but I don't see the diving creatures listed. Those would be nice to have too! :D

This app is really cool. Clearly its a WIP, but when it's finished it will be amazing! I shared this app with my friend who doesn't have the guide :)

Looks good from the pictures I have seen, but i'm one of those poor buggers with a windows phone. :(

If I could make a suggestion, you should add a Crazy Redd list, showing the painting and sculptures Redd sells. Have the comparisons of the fake vs. real items.

This is awesome thank you so much! I was looking for something like this c:

Also I would love to see a tab for villagers, like all the villagers found in the game and tick the ones you have and the ones you would like to have, just a small suggestion, I have no idea if it could be done or not but still this app is great! :3

Hi guys,

I'm trying not to self-promote here (and I apologize to the mods if this isn't allowed), but I thought I'd post because it might be useful to some of you.

I've created an iOS & Android app for New Leaf, which gives info on all of the bugs, fish, events and projects in the game. I thought it'd be helpful for those who don't want to purchase the guide, but still want easy access to information (it works offline too).

When you catch a bug/fish you can mark it as "caught", then when you're looking at the list of fish/bugs the ones you've already caught have a tick next to them, which allows you to see which ones you haven't already caught.

It's completely free because I wanted everyone to have access to it, but it does have an ad in it at the bottom to keep the server maintained. Hope this isn't too much of a problem for you guys.

You can find more information, screenshots and download links for both the iOS App Store and Google Play in my signature. It'll be available in the Amazon App Store shortly for Kindle users.

Let me know what you think of it if you get the chance, always happy to listen to new ideas :)

Thanks!
Jake
I will download this I have Android (Samsung Galaxy Ace II) and iOS (Apple iPod and Apple iPhone 4)

Downloading it now. :)

If anything, I would suggest creating a homepage for the app or something like that instead of it just opening up on bugs. Like a start screen or something with options to each category. Other than that it is really nice. I'll probably keep it. :)

(Not sure if this has been mentioned already though.)

I love it! I'm always finding myself needing to start up my laptop to look something up about the publics works projects, etc. It's awesome that I don't have to now! Haha thanks!

How about a paid ad-free version. I woundnt mind paying somekind of fee

Dude... This app makes tracking the games events soooo much easier! the world needs more devs like you. 5 star review on iOS from me!

Wow! The app is really nice. It's simple but helpful. I'll be sure to tell some of my friends about this app.

I was looking for an app for New Leaf guide a couple of days back, they were all really bad, but this one is amazing! Really nice clean layout on Android, taking full advantage of the design. The caught/haven't caught feature is really useful. Encourages game completion - if that feat is possible in Animal Crossing :D
