Invite the same villager to live with you?

I'm curious, what if a villager in another town is in boxes and you invite them to come to your town, BUT you already have that same villager in your town. Does anyone know what they say/do?

You can't have two of the same villager in your town at once. Nothing would happen, the option to invite them would not show up.

Trust me plenty of people would like to have multiple of the same villager in their town as well so you're not alone on that. You're welcome I'm glad I was able to help

I think it went like this: They had 8 villagers, they invited Fang from a friend, then Fang showed up in their campsite on the next day, they invited Fang from there too, then Fang (from the friend) moved in and then the second Fang set up an invisible house that glitches the game. What exactly was the glitch? A missing no? Dark hole? Or just an invisible house?

Invisible plot, a ghost house. They had to restart their game as the villager is stuck in limbo between moving in twice. You can play but no one will move in or out. Also if you touched town map, then it would crash the game.

Imagine having a town of the same 10 villagers, let's use Kid Cat as an example, and one Kid Cat asks you to deliver a present to Kid Cat. Lol good luck with that

Or one Kid Cat says that the other Kid Cat is thinking about moving. Have fun trying to stop him.
