http://www.belltreeforums.com/showthread.php?98762-Glitched-Game-invisible-villager-house/page9 No,I am not talking about a villager that kills you in your sleep, I'm talking about this Mayor's town with an invisible Wolfgang house. This thread appeared months ago,and I thought it would be cool to bring this back up. The mystery was never solved, and from what I hear she contributed his town to the "ghost" house. Apparently, the maker of the thread had invited Wolfgang from another town to move to her town. But after a few days, the plot never appeared, but A wolfgang from her campsite did. She was able to invite the Wolfgang in. She got a letter from the other-town Wolfgang about not moving in,so she was successful in inviting the campsite wolfgang. She TT a dew days, and she saw Wolfgangs house on her map. She went to the spot on the map,But was surprised that Wolfgang's house did not appear. She could not run through it,and it was invisible. She could touch it,but not go in. When ever she checks the villager list on her map,it crashes. Apparently, she asked some TBTers to go to her dreamtown, and the players crashed as well when checking the villager list. She tried everything but unfortunately, nothing worked. In the end, someone wrote a Creepypasta of it,and she devoted to making her town for the ghost house. I have to thank Flyff for bringing up this very interesting thread. Any thoughts about this?

it's true. the same thing happened to me with fauna. i had to restart my town because basically time doesn't exist in your town anymore. no one can move in or out, which is nice since you don't have to worry about your dreamies pinging you to leave but not too good if you don't have your full dreamie list. only way to solve it....restart your town. :/

Urghhh does that mean his town forever stuck with 9 villagers?

It sounds like a clock issue. This has yet to happen to me, but I guess I could try to recreate it in one of my spare games.

From what I gather, 9.5 lol. I visited Jlees town when this happened.

No villager there, as in no house but plot on the town map. You can't walk through it or touch the town map without it closing the game.

Woah, flyff, like Fly For Fun? Wow, that game's servers are still up? I remember playing that a ton in 4th grade. Also, yeah that's crazy. Does this mean if a villager that you've invited show up in your campsite you shouldn't invite him/her? Is there a workaround of any sorts?

Not THAT game xD. I'm talking about Flyff from TBT XD. From what I have heard,no fixes yet. The author was too scared to give her physical copy to nintendo, because she has the perfect town and she does not want to start over. Guessbthenonly way is to actually give the copy to nintendo, and see if they can patch it.

This sounds interesting. I'm looking through the thread right now. Also looking for the creepypasta.

It also sounds scary, but at the same time the odds of getting it is really, really low? I mean, there's the person who found Wolfgang specifically in her campsite despite the odds of that happening. Then there's adopting Wolfgang and having the right timing to have him appear in camp in the first place, enough to get the person to adopt him. The timing had to be just right to recreate this, especially since villager adoptions usually plot on the next day after adoption.

What I think happened is:
The villager adoption was successful, and the game had already "prepared" the plot to appear in the next day probably. But they have not yet set the villager data, only that a plot will appear. On the day that Wolfgang appeared in camp, he, as the character specifically, wasn't set to move in yet--so when he was recruited, that gave a concrete data on who is moving (since campsite move ins are prioritized than adoptions). By the time the adopted!Wolfgang's plot is set to appear that next day, the game became confused on which Wolfgang data is moving in, and either created an invisible house/plot to compensate or ended up setting up the data plot but never got it done due to the confusion.

...yeah. Anyway, gonna read more on this.

Lets not forget, even Wolfgang wrote her a letter about him not being able to move,as well as Costeau
I didn't even know about that. Also, this means Wolfgang has not been registered as moving in,so does this mean you can INTERRUPT him from moving In by asking another villager to go to your town? Even though Wolfgang has the last spot. This could be some groundbreaking discovery of some sort.

You can interrupt adoptions and wi-fi/streetpass tags by asking a camper to move in, yes. The game prioritizes the move ins in this order:
  1. Camper
  2. Adoption
  3. Wi-Fi/Streetpass Void
  4. Random Move ins

I'm not entirely sure about two simultaneous adoptions yet. But I have recruited and adopted two different villagers, one from campsite and one from wi-fi, and both plotted a day after the other (had space for both). Random move ins will always be interrupted by other move ins.

I think this case is unique because it's the same villager only with slightly different data (data from other town, original game data from camp). I think if the person adopted Wolfgang, then asked someone else from camp to move in, it wouldn't have caused a problem (the camper would overwrite Wolfgang). That's why I thought the game "plans" the plot first and applies the villager data later. I don't mean it plans where the plot goes as that is obviously not the case when you plot reset, but rather it has a plot programmed to appear before setting a villager data on it. Which is why we can plot reset for certain villagers in the first place.

Read the whole thread. I heard about this before that someone has this glitch that had a invisible house because they asked the same villager to move in in both campsite and wifi. But never read that topic till now. Most likely a bear glitch Nintendo hasn't fixed or thought, possibly because of the likelihood of it happening. Guess this glitch will also be in the Japanese version as well. What I think happened is... with villagers moving in as far as I experienced it takes them 1 to 3, 4 days to move in, its random. While Wolfgang from wifi was moving in still (second day), Campsite Wolfgang appears, asks to move in. Next day Wolfgang from wifi is set its plot down (third day), but at the same Campsite Wolfgang does by random and they clash. Creating a ghost house. Since Wolfgang from wifi was first, Wolfgang from the campsite sents a letter but the game is still very confused to whats going on because there is two Wolfgangs moving in at the same time...

So it was just bad luck in a way that they clashed in my view... I think that's what happened from seeing this post and the whole thread.
I got Fauna, but on the next day she didn't put her plot. I had to play on that day with my main, and then TT again so that she could put her plot. If on the next day that i TT and that i found another fauna in my camp and that i invited her, I think it would have definitely made a glitch like yours. I think having 2 Wolfgang makes the glitch, and i really doubt if you can fix this problem :/

Great response to this Chibi! This actually kinda made sense to me. So basically The campsite Wolfgang and the Other Wolfgang's data clashed. But what bothers me is the house though. Is it possible that Camp Wolfgang and other wolfgang were planned to be plotted in the same spot? Thus causing them to clash? What happens if Camp WG(Wolfgang) was in a different house placement than other Wolfgang. Would that make them clash as well no matter what?

Naw, it can't be that. Two villagers can't place their house at the same time, and as a plot resetter, I can guarantee you that no villager is ever actually "planned" to plot into one same spot. A villager's plot can be shuffled around the town, which means there would still be two Wolfgang data in the same plot regardless of where it is. Meaning they already clashed before the plot was even put down just by virtue of being adopted/recruited differently.

A plot can be planned to appear on a certain day, but the villager who owns said plot can be changed as long as it is not a) a recruited camper, b) an adopted villager, or c) a voided villager from wi-fi/streetpass.

Thanks. When is comes to plotting, it doesn't matter. When you open your game with any saved character, a plot will generate anywhere it can place it and saves it (unless you use a new characters multiple times, you use it to place the plot in random places before saving). It's just the data, plot doesn't matter. I see it as way too much data for the game to handle and time because there is two of them. I see the house which is one, but two Wolfgangs in one body.

Oh mi gosh, this is like fusion. It would be cool to Fuse Fang/Wolfgang and have him into one cool looking character. Thanks for the info btw :3
