Infinite candy

Turns out each time you visit someones island you can buy a candy and I don't mean once per day. If you go buy a candy, return to your island, then go back you can buy another candy. So if ok with going through the waiting time flying you can buy a lot of candy in one day.

Oh...I wish I knew about this before when visiting an island multiple times. I assumed the game would know I already got candy from a particular island and would stop me, but that's weird it doesn't remember any island but the player's own.

Hmm that's really cool. I only have one candy because I forgot to buy one yesterday (which was also the first time I played the game in October). I'll probably try visiting some people to get more candy and also just to see other islands, since I haven't visited another island in months.

You could just time travel one day forward, one day back, and continue the process, if you don't mind changing the date back and forth.

wonder which way would be faster, flying back and forth or saving turning off, switching dates and reloading, either way i shared this method for those that are avoiding ever using TT and this way will also get u closer to getting the DAL items

Ooh this is good to know. I plan on opening my island daily in the month of October so people can get candies. I wouldn't mind letting people in and out if they need it. I'm not sure how many candies I'll actually need for halloween but I'm still not done making little candy baskets for my villagers so I'm still diligently looking for towns to visit haha!

If you have friends, then do it through travel. If you don't, then do it by time travel.
