Welcome to Mayor Imbri's first speech about Salem. Well, actually the mayor of Salem is Erin, but I couldn't resist the pun on my username. 
After escaping Rover on the train, I was greeted by several residents of Salem. I thought I was just moving to a new town. I didn't realize I'd been elected mayor! Thank heavens Isabelle is so efficient; she got me through the initial ceremony, directed me to Tom Nook so I could get my house built (on the cliff overlooking the beach. I love waking up to the sound of the surf!), and provided some hints on increasing my popularity so I could get the development permit. We've already started raising funds for a new cobblestone bridge over the river. It'll be a big help to everyone once that is in place. I tell you, I have big plans for our sleepy little town, but I still want to keep the quiet atmosphere that attracted me to Salem in the first place.
