Yesterday, I started to plot down some paths in a place I've been wanting to for a while, and I made a horrifying discovery. There was this disgusting rock in my path, ruining it completely. I thought about putting a tree behind it to mask it somewhat, but I was cursed with awful town layout, and retail is behind it, so I couldn?t even try. It made me so upset i threw my 3DS because I?m a huge overreacting baby (☆?3`) does anyone know a way to make it somewhat bearable? Also don't even mention resetting because I'm too attached to this dumb pixel village.

Do you mean the rock is sitting where your path was going to be? I was in a situation like that in my second town... There was a perma rock right in front of where my bridge was going to go. I liked my bridge position too much that I decided to just incorporate the rock into my path haha. I made the path a stone colour so it would suit it. Here's a bad picture that doesn't show all of it, but you see what I mean:

I find that placing trees around a rock works as well but the 1square buffer around it might make it look awkward if you are planning to place trees in a uniform pattern/line. If there's a rock I want to plant trees around, I usually make it look more "open" and natural looking, with mushrooms and other flowers around it so it doesn't look too sparse. I try to make the rock look like a seating area among the trees. Maybe you can treat the path a similar way? Instead of trees, you can loop your path around it so that it surrounds your rock and make it look like a rest stop/seating area?

If your path is two or three spaces wide I say just roll with it. It might be kind of cute. Plants trees, flowers, and bushes where you can all around that area so it doesn’t look like there’s some random rock just sitting there!

I really like how your path came out! Sadly, the area that this rock is in is a more urban area, so I don?t think I could pull it off as well (*^▽^*) my path is 3x3, and it?s at the bottom of the path, so I could always trim it down, but the width of the paths are one of my favorite parts of my town (?◇?;), you gave me a few good ideas, so thank you so much!

Yeah, just landscape around it. You can really make those rocks work with a little imagination.

I say again. Dynamite should be an item. Then we can just blow those pesky rocks to kingdom come. ^_^

Honestly, what I would do is just go around it, if you have a two block wide path or more it wouldn’t be so hard to navigate. It doesn’t really ruin the area or town, it’s just one block. But incorporating it into your town/theme may not be a bad idea either.
