When villagers put their original furniture in Re-Tail/Give their original furniture to me for free or pay for, I let Cyrus refurbish it to match their color and give it to them. I make them original, but all refurbished.

I've never done that. I either give it back to them as-is or I give them something that I think would look better in their house.

I plan on making their houses themed, so like Stitches will get the Patchwork set, and Dizzy will get the Kiddie set

You can! I think it's stuff that has a pattern on it that you can't. I do it all the time since I'm working on the Refurbishing Gold badge .

I love giving my villagers refurbished items , I took Julian's chess piece and refurbished it with a gold nugget. I've given him a white chocolate fountain as well.

I do this all the time. But I give them furniture that matches better with their interior wall and floor

I do this sometimes. Poppy tried to sell her classic sofa in retail, I bought it and refurbished it to the chocolate colour, and it looks quite nice in her house c:

I give them better things if they ask for them, but I don't let my villagers sell or buy things from the store, instead I just have a bunch of really expensive oranges, WHICH THEY STILL ASK FOR!

I do this all the time! I turned ROsie's polkadot stuff into Pink/Blue
I turned some Astro stuff from Mira's house to blue
I'm Giving Skye/Whitney White Rococo furniture now ^.^

I give my villagers completely different furniture that I think suits them or their house. Mostly because I feel bad cause I'm getting all those sweet upgrades on my house and their trapped living in one-room hut.

I should have been more careful with that, my villagers houses and clothes are a mess. They keep selling what I give them, they buy stuff at Re-Tail (I've been saying no lately and trying to design clothes as they don't wear what I give them in letters). I wish they stayed in their original shirts. I'm trying to refurbish their houses now but some villagers are never in so I haven't seen their houses in like weeks.

I actually do that! Sometimes I just replace their furniture with different refurbished ones. It also ticks me off when they put the refurbished furniture in ReTail or get rid of it.
