If You Found Your Dreamies on NMT Islands, Who Were They and How Did You React?

fauna was actually the first villager i ever met from an island, and back in new leaf she was the first campsite villager i ever had when i started playing. i was floored, like it was fate that kept uniting us! i obviously asked her to move in.

i found kid cat while looking for kabuki or ankha; i had specific plots set up for them so even though i was super excited to see him i was apprehensive because moving the plots is a hassle... i figured i might not be so lucky catching him again so i brought him in. i missed him so much from new leaf, so i'm so happy to have him back again!

raymond took about 200 tickets to find in two "hunts" since the first time i went villager hunting i forgot to set the date back to keep going and claudia moved in. chadder moved out so i started island hopping again and i was pretty shook when i saw him. as i was talking to him a tarantula glitched into the cliff behind him, and when i cut down a tree trying to get a better view to try catching it a wasp came out. that boy probably has a hex on him but i don't care, i love him, he's so cute

Seriously. You found two new characters. LUCKY!!! Hahaha. Honestly I haven't done too bad with villagers from the island. I found Ketchup. Who I liked in pocket camp. So I thought, okay. I will let her move in so I don't get one of my friends ugly voided villagers. Turns out, I LOVE her in New Horizons. She is now a dreamie and one of my favourite villagers I have ever had. She is just so cute and acts like I am the best thing that walked this earth, or rather my NH character. Haha. I also got Merengue from the Island. She is so cute. Really like her. I will keep her a long time. But not sure I will forever. I really like her but don't feel the same connection with her as I do Ketchup. Which is so weird when you are talking about non-existence characters. LOL.

I know, I was shocked to find Reneigh AND Sherb! But then the day after I found Sherb, I was even more shocked to find Cyd (another new villager) on my SECOND ticket for the day! I actually saw Ketchup yesterday and I didn't get her, and now I regret it because now there's a chance it could be a random move-in since I couldn't find anyone else I liked.

I was able to find one of my favourite villagers while island hopping a couple of weeks ago!

I was looking for someone to be my eighth/seventh villager after Paula moved out. Wasn't really looking for anyone specific, I just wanted to meet someone I'd never had before who would be pretty cool to have on my island.

After using a few NMTs, I came across an island that had a large cliff in the centre, and on top of that was another large cliff in the middle. I climbed up to the top, and Melba was waiting for me up there. I couldn't believe it! My absolute favourite villager was on that island and I was so happy!!

Also, a few weeks before that happened I was looking for my first three villagers to move in after my starters. One of the villagers I found was Pompom, I'd never had her before and thought she was kinda cute so I let her move in.

Best. Decision. Ever.

She's always outside Residential Services, either dancing or singing along to whatever song's playing on the music players scattered around the island, and it is absolutely adorable. Why have I never had her before??

I found almost all of my dreamies from NMT. Sherb, Raymond, Audie, Judy. I didn't really set out to find Audie or Judy since I was mainly looking for Sherb and Raymond but when I found them both, they were so cute I had an inner dilemma trying to decide to take them or not. I ended up bringing them both back and they are both wonderful. When I found Sherb I was so excited I could have screamed. And then when I found Raymond after hunting for him for a few days, it felt like I had just won the lottery.

I'm yet to run into a dreamie, really. Beau is the closest, and to be fair, he is like one level below dreamie, so needless to say I was super happy to find him and I definitely don't intend on letting him leave.

But all of my dreamies are nowhere to be found. =(

I found Apollo on my first ticket after letting Cranston move out (and almost immediately regretting it)

It was like 3am and I was sat there in my bed with this dumbstruck look on my face. Think I just stood and looked at him for a while before even talking to him lol

Got Chief after about 5 or 6 tickets, he was a dreamy but I was just looking to fill the plot with someone half decent as I didn't have a lot of tickets, and I didn't fancy my luck. When I saw that familiar orange fur, I just shouted "OMG" and again just stood there in awe

I felt the same way when I found Sherb! I don't have any Snooty villagers so maybe my empty plot will be filled with Judy? (I'd prefer if it wasn't filled at all, but that's just wishful thinking.)

I had the idea to hunt for Raymond yesterday and I used about 25-30 NMTs. Actually ran into Octavian, Zucker, and Cyd! But I ended up running into Diana and picked her up instead since she's a villager I've always wanted on my island

Idk How many tickets I used but had to be less than 5 tickets for islands with villagers on them
I just got my first villager to move out and was surprised there was avillager on every island
So I'm just on an island admiring the fact that there was 4 big fish in the pond talking about Julian to my friend"
When I look up and see Judy, at the time I didnt know her name so I was just went

" OOO, ITS THAT COTTON CANDY BEAR THING"
My friend responded "Oh, So you mean Julian Best friend"

And that is how I found Judy pretty early in the game lol

i found marshall last night (morning? it was 2 am haha) i was about to go to sleep, but i decided to grind for one last nook mile ticket for the night. i went through about 25ish before this one, and i hadn't found any dreamies, so i wasn't expecting a whole lot. when i saw marshall i just dropped my switch. i couldn't believe it!! definitely wasn't expecting him to turn up on my last ticket. hoping others have luck & can find their dreamies as well

I got Fauna on my very first trip using NMT! I was SO happy! I did get a little scared though, because I had just started the game and didn't have any plots yet, but when I eventually got them, she moved right in!

After finding a friend that was gonna sell Marshal to me for 7 NMT (a steal I love them), I was using some extra tickets someone else gave me just for scouting other villagers, and I got him on the second ticket. Went mad on Twitter and Snap while my friends all cheered. Best day of playing to date.

I was lucky enough to get Kabuki on probably my fifth ticket!! I was so surprised that I accidentally exclaimed "oh my gosh!" out loud in this hoarse, breathy, voice, lol.

I'd saved up around 20 tickets to use, and with 13 left, I found Sherb! Then I used some tickets to buy some items and only had around 5 left. Portia was moving out so I used up these tickets on her empty plot-- and I found Diana! I audibly gasped at both lol
