If you could change your name, would you and to what?

When I turn 20 i'm changing my name to Nikole because Chihaya is ugly
I have...a character named Chihaya and I think it's a pretty name :'D

If I ever change my name it'll be because I want to use a Japanese name while actually in Japan and it'll be
僧都明日 (souzu asuka)
Aska - my online handle since forever, and a nice name
Souzu - pretty much a transliteration of my real last name/origins. My last name comes from "Priest" and "Town" and........those are the similar kanji in japanese, so.............

The only reason my parents chose that name is because my mother is Korean! I used to get made fun of a lot in school! But the name that you'll be choosing is actually pretty nice :)

Ahh I see :o I do like "Nikole" though- I rarely see it spelled that way, too (and it's not like... way crazy)

And thanks :)

i don't mind jamie because its fairly neutral/androgynous but its also quite boring and not very pretty or anything

I'd change my current name to Kayla. I use it in all of my video games and all my relatives use that name with me anyways. My frist name gets spelled wrong all the time and people have thought I'm a boy because of it.

Someone said I should have been called "Becky Lovelace" as like an author alias or something. But it sounds like a porn star name. Or a stripper name. :P

My real name is Katherine. Middle name: Samantha. I hate Kat or Kathy or nick names like that. I much prefer Katherine or just Kilo.

But yeah.... Becky Lovelace. XP

Yeah...that sounds a bit..porn-y :x I love the name Katherine, though, it's my cousin's name and I think it's really pretty.

If you become an author you could always keep Katherine and just change your last name lol.

I like my name too, actually. I would want to keep it. Its going to be on my uniersity degrees. Why wouldnl't it be on the books I write? So far I have publihed a textbook and have a novel and a piece of non-fiction in the works. The novel is already at 50,000 words so its already a "novel" but the story isn't done yet :P

Hm. I HATE HATE HATE my second name, it's so easy to pronounce if I tell you but most people can't grasp the basic concepts of it so my pseudonym is Ruffliane Wanderlust/Dreamfeathers at the moment.
As for my first name, I quite like it but it's too short. Ruth doesn't exactly sound attractive. So that's why I'm known as Ruff on the general space of the Internet.

I HATE my middle name, I want it changed to like April or something, I hate Dawn .-.

Isn't your real name Summer? Summer Dawn sounds so pretty!

I am cool with my first names, Kevin Mark. I like that they speak of my Irish heritage. If a name change was a must, Zulehan would be neat, but I am fine with the current name.

I'm content with both my first and middle name. My first name is the feminine version of my (maternal) grandfather's name and my middle name is the same as my (maternal) grandmother's first name.
