These are the most relatable personalities for me and they don't even exist so here are my ideas for them.

Crazy Villager:

• Female only
• Calms down when you reach each level of friendship and on certain events like Easter and April fools they will have an outburst of excitement and become crazy again on that day.
• Cats will be the ones mostly associated with this personality due to the "crazy cat lady" stereotype however villagers like Ostriches will have this personality and reference putting there head in sand during a crisis so they will be paranoid.
• Their catchphrase and picture quote will relate to their personality.
• Wolves, Octopi, Penguins, Mice and Bear Cubs cannot be crazy villagers due to their relaxed nature in real life, villagers like Cats, Ostriches, Birds, Ducks and so on will be the ones who are associated with this personality type mostly, example: Tabby.
• Their outside the most and you can see them chasing after butterflies and other insects, something that's exclusive to them.

Depressed Villager:

• Male only
• During conversation they bring up sadness and neglect from other villagers.
• They are often misunderstood.
• They ask for the most favours and will reward you with the best items.
• Their friendship level is the slowest and this is why they ask for the most favours.
• They usually have pet insects, fish and crustaceans for company in their homes.
• They have a happiness level which is exclusive to them, this is similar to the friendship levels but its even slower.
• Their catchphrase changes depending on their happiness level, something that is unique to them.
• Animals like Anteaters, Octopi, Dogs, Birds, Bears and so on are mostly associated to this personality due to their behaviour in real life, an example being that birds are neglected by female mates if they fail on a certain dance or if their feathers aren't vibrant enough to mate, another example being Anteaters lonesome lives.
• If you see them fishing or catching a bug, they will place it it in their house, something that is exclusive to them.
• They rarely go outside.

I love the idea of shy/nerdy personalities! I'd also like the idea of a gentle, polite male personality, something akin to normals, but a little less spacy and a little more studious. sort of a "nice but reserved professor" vibe.

I think this is what they were going for with smug but it didn't hit the mark we do need normal males but norms are shy and bookish females they need to be more normal when I think normal I do t think shy and bookish I think different but that's what norms are shy and bookish females..but that shouldn't be norm norm should be a mix of all..uchi is closer to norm than normals lol.

I e had some male s,it's who meet the depressed type. I always said I think each villager has a main type and a secondary ex I have had 2 Bamgles one was sweet and very peppy and one was peppy but with a definite snooty side. I have had norms that were very peppy on their secondary side one was Gayle..others very bland. I've had over the too smug a and I trospective depressed ones Kidd was one Marahall was one..but same villager other times seems to have a different sub personality it's something I've questioned since the beginning I don't think any two of the same villager are exactly the same I think they have a subtype. Also Jock and Cranky need expanded on and so do norms...more variation so if there isn't a subtype there should be, main type norm sub peppy or main peppy sub snooty as described I will think up some variations not reply and put them up. This is interesting.

I think that villagers have been watered down and I want that changed...maybe ACNL PG13 version or something as a sub where the snooties are snooty again, and the smugs are really flirty, and the Uchis are like the streets smart tomboy they are trying to be, and the Jocks are more complex, and the peppies can be sad, I want characters with variation and not a type that all have same dialogue. If that subtype feature that makes each unique can't be done well change normals because they aren't normal they are shy and insecure and bookish so make them female shy and add male nerdy and have normal be a mix of all types at times never know what a normal will do right..Or let's add prankster, and I like the gentleman idea and see them buttong heads with Jocks. I want things less watered down even if it's ACNL 18+ or 21+ or parental guidance version if under I want more realistic and varied text for goodness sake with subtypes the texts will vary a lot. I did have a peppy Bangle say something so snooty she beat any snooty I've seen in NL and I loved her ever since..but other Bangles nope never had that b...side to them and I miss it seeing her say that about Monique off the cuff I almost died laughing...Ok types. Yes on shy aka what norm is now..Yes on nerdy counterpart, norm being a mixed bag of any type and male norm too should fit gentleman and be a mixed bag, Uchis being streetwise types, smugish being outright flirty or poetic depending on which type of smug and you know there are two ex Julian versus Kyle...different. Snooty being really snooty and gossipy but can make friends with..I also want interactive parties of villagers and talk about why didn't she invite me..rumors they speak off well spread some snooty tell me the gossip, lol. Jocks run run through the village and be smart too...Lazy well he can be male norm. And gentleman vs Slick will call him Slick or Trickster..I want also more villagers than ten along with the types not everyone wants one of each hence make more options or variety among the types. I'd like to see a uchi fight a snooty lol. Talk about meet behind the town hall ready for a rumble we'll have a black eye not a story about a returned item, lol. Throw some turf at me, lol. I don't want the watered down same convos ESP I have a wolf town mostly cranky and snooty so please subtypes so conversation varies and characters seem more than one sided stereotypes that don't even aside jock fit the name..How about conman aka slick or trickster..Ladies man was meant to be smug but smug is hipster or flashy or poetic it didn't hit the mark..and does anyone know anyone normal in their life that isn't a mixed bag...so yes norms are shy. I don't care if it says parental approval for over such and such AC Gets Real for the a bit older bunch age teen or MA just make it work and make the toned down one for AC Fun Fest age 8+ AC Gets Real edition for older bunch..seperate the watered down from the realistic I mean no Resetti he scared kids..ok he doesn't make Fun Fest edition lol. Anyone else for AC Edgy Edition..Tag line AC Just got Real. No more Mayor if you want how about try to fit into this town your new so they won't like you at first work for it. Just know there is a market for AC kids and AC 18 and up there really is.

a while ago i suggested 2 personalities i think they were shy (for girl villagers) and flamboyant (for male villagers)

but now that i think about it shy is basically normal and flamboyant is basically smug

i dont think theres many new personalities you could make that can be recognized as what we dont have already... i think all we need now is to make all the personalities for male and female villagers. that would make the personality spectrum feel bigger

Both: Shy, Childish (characters like Stitches, Lolly, etc.)

Male: Excitable, (basically Peppy) Nice, (normal) & Jokester (or something like that, someone that tells jokes and plays pranks.)

Also, enough with this x gender = x personality.

I want more characters that challenge gender norms/for the personalities/genders not to be something that always matches up.
So, some female jocks. Snooty men. "Normal" dudes because... well, idk why that's gendered to begin with.

Maybe we could have a "bad boy" personality. They could be rebellious, mischievous, and always talking tough. They'd also act brotherly towards the player, kinda like the male counterpart to uchi villagers.
