I mean that the statement itself is iddity bitty and not worth the hassle most people make it out to be.
Like that joke I made before I left last time. A simple joke got turned into me apperently being a biggart and a racist :l

I brought it up because it isn't just one statement. If you are just joshing, then it was in rather poor taste to declare you'd rather a disaster have hit this country than Japan. I don't associate in real life with someone who would make that kind of statement after a disaster, it doesn't have to be about this country for it to be in poor taste.
Aeri, in case you couldn't figure this out, sarcasm is unreadable over the internet, unless you state that what you said was sarcasm. However, you are not doing this. You say what you say, regardless of the repercussions (this includes people flaming/getting mad) and expect everyone to realize that you're sarcastic. You also say something that you intend it as it sounds, but then, in order to avoid further conflict, you say it was meant as a joke. You really haven't changed, except maybe getting a bit older.

I'm sorry, but at least they can tell sarcasm and know when a joke is a joke. They don't get all high and mighty, thinking they know someone (Which you lot don't, if you knew me you'd know when I was making a joke and wouldn't get all *****y. Amirite?).

I think I have actually acted kinda mature in the fact I moved on and forgave the **** you lot said about me. You lot haven't learnt that moving on is the more mature thing.

Look I wasn't claiming to know you, I was pointing out that this is not the first time you made a statement that really seems against the country I live in. I don't even like it that much but it still grates on my nerves. You clearly don't understand what some things you type sound like to others. So you are making a joke, alright are you gonna make a black joke to black people you don't know that well? Hell I had fun with jokes on stereotypes, but not when I don't know someone. When I get to know someone it is on the whole known not to be true.
When you really don't know someone, as I really don't know you, it does leave an impression, especially when I am not the only reacting in an uncomfortable manner.
I don't even remember how you used to act here, its been so long, and didn't even know you had used to be on here with that new name. You had a chance to make a new impression on me, and its been going sour.
All I ask is for you to tone it down a little bit, and you get really defensive. Not only that but you state you laugh at us. Think about doing that in real life, you would look like a jerk.
