🎄Ideas for a Christmas themed town? 🎄

Did anyone suggest the pwp that is a ugly cone shaped lit tree? It looks terrible until snow is on the ground and at night. Then it is very lovely.

I would pick Marcel, Poppy, and Lily for some good villager ideas. They all remind me of Christmas for some reason.
For flowers/landscaping, I would go with red roses or tulips, bushes and white roses or tulips. I mean, go with whichever flowers you want, I just use those ones the most. Lillies are also pretty.
Cabin or the actual Jingle theme interoir for a house would be perfect. Cabin is much easier to get year-round though. Good luck, cute idea!

Too lazy to go through and read all the posts, so sorry if all this has been said before...

Villager Possibilities:
  • Stitches, because he's a toy bear
  • All deer villagers (like reindeer), near Santa's house
  • Flurry, because she's snow-themed
  • Sprinkle, because she's snow/ice cream-themed
  • Animals that live in cold climates, like penguins and polar bears
  • Hans, because he looks like a yeti

PWP Possibilities:
  • Any and/or all of the illuminated PWPs
  • Fairy-tale themed PWPs
  • Playground PWPs
  • Someone said the chair sculpture looks like a giant stocking, which is a great idea!
  • Balloon arch, since it's fun and would go with the playground PWPs

Other Landscaping:
  • Either go all out and colorful, to go with the toy theme of Christmas, or go with pretty, elegant winter colors - or use both for different areas
  • Presents everywhere! Both the normal ones the player can wrap themselves, and ones from villagers - maybe put them around your town tree or illuminated trees?
  • Lots of cedar trees, of course!
  • A lost stocking would be another good item to place
  • Candy

Interior Decorating:
  • For Santa, I would have a toy workshop, reindeer stall, and his private apartment as three of the rooms, and then go from there. You could make it more office/business-like and add some stuff for the elves, have a "control center" (like the mission control center, but for when Santa's out delivering presents), etc.
  • Furniture series that are cozy and rustic, directly winter-themed, or toy and play-themed would be best

Other Characters:
  • Mrs. Claus - in this case, remove the apartment for Santa and make his house completely a workshop, and Mrs. Claus' house where they actually live
  • An elf, of course
  • A toy villager, to go with Stitches, and the toy-themed parts of the town - maybe a doll, with her house being a dollhouse (with mannequins being other dolls)

^ Wow looks like you got your work cut out for you now! On top of other alternate villagers, what about a random villager who is supposed to be just a good little boy or girl? And so their house has different things like their little boy room, the living room full of presents and a Christmas tree, the kitchen where the family will have a festive ham dinner, ect.

Entirely white coloured villagers on white snow doesn't sound well to me. I think you should choose natural coloured villagers

If clutter doesn't bother you, you definitely should use presents on random spots of your town. Would look really nice especially on bridges and town plaza. Also using dud tickets in an appropriate place can make them look like wishlists. I use it near stone tablet, looks well

Ooohh yes I like that! When you knock down the balloons but don't pick up the presents they stay there c:

Also I'm not sure if you would have separate characters for santa and mrs. Claus if IRL they're supposed to be living together hehe if you make Santa have a Mrs. Claus mannequin or vise versa
Maybe for their house a big cabin room and exterior with jingles pic and stuffed stocking on a fireplace? And the festive white tree, yule log, tree stump chair, gift pile, and a turkey on the cabin table :) Then another room with all jingle furniture, and snowman furniture, ice furniture, maybe sweets?? And another character as a toymaker elf I love that idea
Other winter furniture like snowman matryoshka, snow bunny, small igloo, sleigh, maybe eagle pole, scenic painting
I would check out some dream addresses after that!

I’m starting to do a Christmas themed town And if so, what kind of PWPs, paths and such would you recommend?

PWPs: anything illuminated (especially the tree), wooden bridges, topiaries, wisteria trellis, flower clock, basically any plant-related PWP, bell

Plants: red/white flowers, gold roses, holly starts

Villagers: deer (because reindeer), Stitches (since he's based on a toy), red or green villagers

Also, this legitimately has inspired me to make a Christmas themed town of my own.
