Ideal Villager amount?

I feel like 10 villagers sometimes is such a small amount for this game! I'd like my town to have more variety >.<
Do you think 10 villagers is a good amount? Or should there be more villagers in town? Or less? o:

More. There are so many awesome villagers... and not enough space. Eventually you would run out of space, but a limit of 15 would be good xD Or is that just me?

15 sounds better than 10, you wouod then be able to have more different animals. In the next game they should make the town bigger

Personally, I'd rather have more personalities before more villagers. 15 villagers using 8 personalities might get repetitive to me. x_X They aren't as different as in older games since all the personalities are friendlier, so I worry it'd start to seem a little stale.. D:

The original Animal Crossing has 15 villagers maximum.
Wild World has 8 villagers maximum.
City Folk has 10 villagers maximum.
New Leaf has 10...
So the next game, if the town is bigger, should have 15.

They should also create 2 new personality types.

I wouldn't mind more villagers, but they would have to make the town a good deal larger. I feel like everyone is right on top of one another right now. I fact, I'm considering deleting one or more of my dummy characters just to open up some space for orchards, flowers, and PWPs.

A bigger town with more villagers would be nice. Maybe around 15 villagers.

If the town was larger I would like about 15 but I would also like a little more variety in personality. I don't mind when some villagers have the same personality but the variety would be much appreciated.

I totally agree here. I am a bit disappointed at how animal personalities have been tones down in this game. Blathers doesn't blather, Celeste has NO personality, and the villagers' personalities are so bland. My "snooty" character is actually one of hte sweetest in town, and we are the closest friends.

I'd love to have a super large town with different areas that villagers could live in - city, forest, beachside, and having 20 villagers live there, and depending on personality some would rather live in certain areas more than others.

I want more villagers again. The town was much smaller in the original game but we had 15 villagers, and I've felt like the population was too low ever since!!

I feel 10 is perfect, at least with my current waterlogged map, haha.
Though if you could have more villagers, I'd like for additional personalities to go with it, to stop the game from feeling repetitive.

I agree with what someone else said regarding personalities. I want the current personalities to be beefed up a bit and for maybe 4 more personalities. That would be awesome! There would be SO much more variety and would make the game a lot more fun in my opinion!

I feel like they should have a town spread over more than one map, for example a beach section of the town, a desert section, city, forest, jungle, ocean, with different layouts and different types of villagers would live there, but there was a way to unlock each area. That way there would be more things to do, more diversity and it would take forever to get bored of lol

I'm fine with the current maximum villager amount. I don't think it needs to be higher.
