Buying I want your trash

This may sound like an odd request but I need to catch a fly and I've read that trash is one way to attract one (without waiting to buy and spoil turnips - I don't TT). Since I have the beautiful town ordinance, I can't actually catch my own.

If anyone has some or would be willing to catch some, I will definitely pay you for your trouble. I'm not too sure how much is reasonable though so just name your price.

I don't know if trash attracts ants, but I know rotten fruit does. Perfect fruit trees drop a piece of rotten fruit when they die alongside two pieces of perfect fruit, if that helps.

I have some rotten cherries if you want them, I've only seen them attract ants though. But I've been too lazy to pick them up or pay attention to them. lol You can have them for free.

Um yeah I think it's just spoilt turnips and trash that attract flies (and rafflesia) from what I've read. But sure, I'll take the rotten fruit and try it out! Thanks Regal, I'll add you in a minute
