Well, it is very possible with Windows computers because they're so insecure, but downloading a program like GIMP from a trusted source (the official website) isn't going to hurt anything. They wouldn't put a virus on the official website, lol.

No my mum has this idea:
Anything I download is instantly bad.
So i'm not giving her any fuel so im not downloading jack*censored.2.0*.
