I was TTing in order to make a villager move to get room for one of my dreamies, and something just went completely wrong. All my hybrids died and two of my dreamies moved away. I honestly don't know what I did wrong and I feel like giving up on this game. What is the "correct" way to TT? I thought I was doing it correctly but everything went wrong.

how many days were you TTing ahead?
3 at a time, then I would walk around until someone pinged me about trying to move.

You cant have a 2 villagers move out in 3 days same with the flowers so you had to TT more then 3

I talk to all my villagers and have fun with the day and TT a day if you want to move someone out what I do is I TT every 2 days and talk to my villagers especially the snooty ones because they will tell you if someones leaving just male sure if 4 days have gone by be VERY careful because that's when someone should be moving or they are close and like say if bob is moving on the 22ed theres a chance ruby will move on the 23erd so just be careful
Oh, I see. I think I'll take a break from AC for a while. This has been too traumatizing

Aww don't give-up! This happened to me in my previous town and I lost Sprinkle. Give it some time and come back to it. I think you will find some happiness in it again

Sorry to hear your loss! I would be devastated if that happened to me. I lost Genji due to a no0b mistake. I follow this guide practically to a T. You can read my experience in this post in the same thread. I would add that it's not just the snooty villagers that give you the juice gossip. I've been relying on Beau a lot since he's usually the one to tell me these days and my snooty villagers are relatively new to my town.
EDIT: Not mentioned in my experience linked post above but I recently lost Genji because of a TT'ing accident and he was a dreamie. I heard rumors from other villagers in my town that he was thinking of moving so I talked him to death, which was the wrong thing to do because I should've ignored him until he pinged me first about moving and then convince him to stay that way... My mistake is that I kept TT'ing one day at a time hoping in our conversations he'd bring it up but you actually have to ignore that villager until they ping you and broach the subject first.
